Ebony oak wooden TV stand stereo component cabinet by Decibel Designs

This is a quick description about a 33 inch high Ebony oak TV stand stereo cabinet hand made by Decibel Designs. We can make them shorter, or all the way up to 6 foot tall or even something entirely custom.

The Ebony finish on oak is very, very dark brown with black in the dominant winter grain. We use a Minwax Wood Finish stain for the best color and then top coat with a satin acrylic urethane by Sherwin Williams for long lasting good looks.

The end result is organic color with a completely professional finish.

We use Columbia Forest products oak veneer plywood which is bonded together with soybean glue so there's no formaldehyde to out gas.

All the edges are banded with solid oak which we give a soft radius to and hand sand.

The bottom trim of the TV stand hides 6 dual wheel casters for easy mobility. The casters are non marking so they're safe for stone and wood floors.

The 3 adjustable shelves are standard. Extra shelves or slide out shelves may be ordered.

We also offer clear or gray tint tempered glass doors made for us by Glasswerks. They do a wonderful job polishing the edges before tempering. We can fit door locks for you too. The doors are cradled in a nice Nickel self closing  hinge from Hafele.

There is space behind the shelves for cables and airflow, and the 1/8 plywood meranti back has top and bottom slots for cables and cooling.
